Ibiza Family Holiday…?

13th November 2009

Me and my rents are going to Ibiza in a few days.
To Es Canar or something.
Obviously Ibiza is known for it’s party’s.
And I know alot of english people go out there for the clubs.
But i’m 16 and my parents are definately not into any of that.
Is it still a nice place to go?
Or will the hotels be full of rowdy english men and the nightlife heavy?
Thankss.

It is a nice place to visit but if you are going in the summer you might find it unpleasant. A better place for you and your parents would be Majorca. I went to both places and Majorca was much more pleasant. Or you can go to Valencia.
    Cheers!

Ibiza really has gotten a bad reputation for it’s nightlife and wild english teenagers.
But i can honestly say when you get there, you’ll be puzzled as to why. Es Cana is located in the east of the Island, whereas the party life is mostly situated in the West in San Antonio.
Es Cana (Canar) is known for being a resort ‘For the whole family, where children can play safely, with cheerful places to eat out’
This part of Ibiza is a different world away from the party Ibiza. It’s mostly a family resort so you have nothing to worry about.
It’s a LOVELY place to go. It’s got a lovely feel to it, and around this time of the season it will be packed with families. The beaches are gorgeous and you have an amazing choice of restaurants depending on whether your half board, full board, or self catering.
There are a lot of water sports which you can do during the day, such as Banana boat and jet skiing.
You can also catch a boat into Ibiza town if you want a bit of shopping, or catch a little train to into the country side.
I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time and no, the hotel will not be full of rowdy english men and you’ll find laid back classic bars instead of your ‘hardcore heavy nightclubs’.
    Have a lovely time!
